It starts with a conversation. Your land is your legacy and your income. We’d like to hear the history of your property and your vision of the land into the future.

Keystone streams will then review streams and other ecological features of your property to determine if a riparian forest buffer is appropriate.

Keystone will purchase a conservation easement. This generates additional revenue for the farm and protects it for future generations. It’s still your private land, suitable for hunting and fishing.

Determine a planting plan together. In partnership with you, we determine the best planting time and mix of native trees and shrubs most appropriate.

We plant a forest. The forest will start small and grow larger year after year creating an ever-improving lasting legacy. Forests can also be dedicated in memory or honor of loved ones.

Keystone is responsible for the maintenance of the riparian forest by ensuring the trees grow properly.
